NIC (STC) 50 rating is achieved using 5/8" drywall with Insul-Quilt vs. a NIC 32 rating using drywall alone.

Product Information
Insul-Quilts are comprised of 1 layer of .00025” flame-proof foil on 100 lb Kraft paper encasing 2 layers of RA-25 fiberglass insulation and a layer of .0068” glass fiber plain weave fabric in white or black. Custom colors are available. The sides are finished with the ends open. They may be closed if needed for specific application. The quilts are sewn with loop stitching 4” OC. The finished product is 4' wide, 16' long and nominally 2” thick, weighing approximately 24 lbs./roll.

Installation
Insul-Quilts may be installed horizontally or vertically. Grommets may be applied for mounting purposes depending on the application.
